Privacy Policy

Payo is an iOS app for tracking subscriptions and upcoming charges. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account identifiers: login data from Firebase Authentication, including your email address (Email/Password sign-in) or Apple Sign-In identifier/token details. We do not receive your Apple password.
  • User-entered app content: subscription names, amounts, billing dates, categories, and related notes you add.
  • Diagnostics: limited technical diagnostics such as crash information, when available, to maintain app stability.

2. How We Use Data

  • Provide core features, including account sync, subscription tracking, and account management.
  • Enable reminder functionality, including local notifications where used by the app.
  • Protect accounts, monitor misuse, and support security and fraud prevention.
  • Improve reliability through diagnostics and bug fixing.

3. Storage and Processing

We use Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database. User content is stored, Data is transmitted over encrypted network connections.

4. Sharing and Third Parties

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app, such as Google Firebase and Apple (for App Store and in-app purchase operations).

5. Data Retention

We retain account and app data while your account is active. If you delete your account in the app, we remove your data and delete the related Firebase Authentication user where possible.

Limited residual copies may remain in secure backups for a reasonable period and are removed according to backup lifecycle practices.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and update your information directly in the app.
  • Delete your account and associated data from within the app settings.
  • Contact support for privacy questions or requests.

7. Children’s Privacy

Payo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. International Processing

If you use Payo outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
